    Maybe on Volume 3? Lou Fine's other character, the Ray was there.

    When Gil Kane took over Tower Comics' Raven strip for one issue, he changed the Raven's wings to resemble the Condor's glider-cape. Years later when DC reprinted the Black Condor by Fine, I immediately made the connection between Gil Kane and Lou Fine, which Kane later made clear in various interviews.
